The American Legion was Chartered in 1919 as a patriotic veteran's organization that was formed to bring service to veteran's, their families and their communities. Runnestrand-Pederson Post 354 serves as the arm of the national American Legion as it provides the services to veterans locally and serves to meet the needs of the community.

Legion pays perpetual respect for all past military sacrifices to ensure they are never forgotten by future generations.

Veteran's Memorial Day Crosses
Every Memorial Day a formation of crosses are arranged in memoriam of all veterans from the Ettrick area who have passed. This display is on main street between (instert name of insurance company here) and the future location of our new community center.
Crosses are displayed every Memorial Day in memory of all Ettrick area veterans that have passed. The crosses are displayed on Ettrick's main street adjacent to the planned new building location.
